Around Queens Park, Heywood.

Black and white photo of Queens Park, near Heywood, in late Victorian times circa 1900.

The Lodge House near the main entrance to Queens Park (named after Queen Victoria) at Heywood near Rochdale.

The lovely Victoria Fountain in Queens Park, near Heywood, Rochdale. This is so beautifull, I could stop and watch this for hours!

The little fountain in Queens Park, near Heywood, Rochdale. Now dry, this ornate fountain may not be in its original place?

Neo-Classical carved head (bust) used to stand at the other side of the park, not far away from the entrance, but now re-located to stand near the bowling green.
